Shingled Ranch

This rural Dodgeville home is tucked into a south facing hillside, and under the canopy of a mature oak grove.  A quiet presence is achieved with simple massing, a hipped roof, and shingle siding with classic white trim.  The pergola links the garage and house, providing covered entry and easy use of forecourt and backyard.

Large windows facing south and west create a panoramic view from the living room.  The three sided screen porch off the kitchen further promotes an indoor/outdoor lifestyle.  The copper awning roof supported by brackets gives shelter and shade to the walkout basement entry.
