Modern Kitchen

From dark & dreary to wonderful & WOW!!!.....this kitchen shows how removing a wall and chosing a palette of contemporary forms, materials, and colors can make family life fun & functional. 

We looked at 4 different floor plans to solve problems of light, flow, storage, and coziness.  The entryway lacked a place for coats and boots.  The front living room was smallish and awkwardly arranged for watching TV.  The kitchen was landlocked and hodge-podge.  The family room (a more recent addition), was overly large and lacked a logical place for dining.  And could room be made for a master bedroom walk-in-closet?
