Facade Sketches

Unroll tracing paper.  Tear off 10 sheets.  Lay over enlarged photo.  Draw with thick felt-tipped pen.  Don't stop till all sheets are gone.  Choose the best one or two.  Refine, using thin pen & markers.  Always, always it's about scale and proportion.  Specific materials and colors can change.  Due diligence completed, make final drawing on computer with Sketchup.   For the whole story, see Storefront Makeover under Commercial Buildings.
